Jewelry Innovations is a small family owned business that has grown significantly in the last fourteen years.  We started operations in 1989 and have done our best to continue to change and be innovative within the jewelry industry.

The owners of Jewelry Innovations Inc. have been involved in the jewelry business for 32 years.  Allen started as a diamond cutter after graduating from the American School of Diamond Cutting in 1970.  Allen spent several years traveling to Africa to purchase rough diamonds for a large corporation.

In 1975, we (Allen and Paula McIllece) opened two retail jewelry stores in Salt Lake City, Utah.  We continued operations of these two stores until 1987.  The experience we gained during our retail jewelry years have been extremely valuable to our manufacturing and wholesale business.

In 1989 we opened Jewelry Innovations Inc. with the goal of manufacturing fine quality diamond jewelry.  Our highest goal has always been to offer friendly expert service to independent jewelers.  We have always maintained a strong relationship with our accounts, through excellent customer service and standing behind all of the products we offer.

We offer several different programs and lines for the retail jewelry store.  We sell fine quality diamond wedding sets, semi-mount rings necklaces and bracelets.  The diamonds we set are always top quality V.S.-2-S.I.-1 in clarity and G-H in color.  Our craftsmanship is superior.  The stones are tightly set with straight channels and the rings have heavy shanks.

We also offer an innovative sample ring program that has been a very good marketing tool for the retail jewelry stores.  The sample program has over 300 styles.  The rings are made of sterling silver and cubic zirconia with a heavy gold or rhodium plating.  We have found it is like having a catalog you can try on.  When the customers orders from the sample program we make the ring in any metal, in their customers ring size and with their choice of head size and type.  The jeweler has only to set their customers center stone and deliver the ring.

Our titanium wedding band is a strong program we have recently added.  We offer all of our rings in four to eight mm widths, with interchangeable in-lays of 14K gold, sterling silver or platinum.  All of our bands have inside rounds shanks.  We back stock these styles in sizes 8 to 12 and typically ship out the same day or the next day.  We also offer quarter sizes and they ship within one week.  All of our titanium rings are covered under our warranty program, insuring that the ring  will be replaced in the event of a finger size change or the loss of the ring.  For a small deductible the customer will receive a brand new ring.

We introduced our Tungsten-Carbide wedding band line in the spring of 2003.  We offer ten basic styles that have interchangeable in-lays of 18K yellow gold, sterling silver or platinum.  The rings are available in six and eight mm in width and are all comfort fit inside.  We will be back stocking this line, as we have the titanium line, as soon as production catches up with the great demand we have had for the product.

The mokume gane jewelry line has a variety of styles including men’s bands, anniversary bands, and semi-mount solitaires.  Making mokume gane jewelry is very labor intensive.  Several different metals, including 14K green, red and yellow gold, palladium and fine silver, are layered together under extreme heat.  The finished rings are multi-colored and always one-of-a kind.

We have always had a large demand for a custom made jewelry.  We have recently added a computerized designed program and wax machine.  We are capable of producing very complicated jobs to very simple jobs on the wax machine with the accuracy of computerization.  We offer waxes only and also complete finish work with our superior quality.

Everything we offer in our manufacturing and wholesale business is based on our experience in retail jewelry.  We know the problems that independent jewelry retailers are faced with including inventory control, marketing, and markup, to name a few.  We have tried to keep all of these things in mind when we are setting up our lines and programs.  We offer stock balancing on our merchandise on a yearly basis.  Many of our lines come with free displays to better sell the product.  We offer advertising for the jeweler  in various forms, from counter cards to ad slicks to digital pictures.  We pride ourselves on quick delivery of our merchandise.  We feel as a company, our strongest attribute is our customer service.  We are only here because our accounts believe in us and we value our relationships with them.  We stand behind all of our products!

We have several salesman through out the U.S. that carry and represent our line and we are currently exhibiting at the following shows, J.C.K Las Vegas, J.C.K. Phoenix,  the Columbus Jewelry Show, Wisconsin Jewelry Show in Madison, and J.I.S. Miami Show.
